Organic-fed and free-range – full of love and care. No antibiotics. No added hormones. Just chickens being chickens.

We have 50+ laying hens…that’s a lot of eggs every day! It’s certainly way too many for our family to eat. And I want to share them with you.

You just can’t beat true free-range eggs. Ok, yes you can. You can beat them into an omelet! 😉 But I highly recommend over-easy to truly appreciate the rich flavor and creamy texture of our eggs.

Our eggs have a firm orange/yellow yolk. Orange and thick yolks are a good indicator of a chicken’s balanced and healthy diet. The orange color actually comes from the green grass, weeds, and vegetable scraps they eat.

BUT! …don’t be fooled by store-bought eggs with yolks that look orange. It’s actually very easy to fake it by feeding chickens synthetic chemicals. Make sure you know where your eggs come from and what those hens are eating. An egg’s nutritional value is directly related to what the hen eats.

Our hens get fresh grass to forage all day long. We move our ladies on a regular basis so they always have fresh clean grass. We use mobile chicken coops, that we call chickshaws, and they make moving the flocks around a breeze. The girls go in and out as they please throughout they day. We only close them in at night to protect them from predators.

Delivery Location and Pick up Schedule

We will bring your fresh eggs to to you! We don’t need your address though. We will bring your eggs to the designated pick-up location every week on Saturday at 9am.

We don’t ship our eggs for a few reasons:

  1. They likely wouldn’t make it to you safely (or on-time). Your eggs should be fresh and handled with care.
  2. Shipping is costly and would make our eggs too expensive. We want to keep our prices as affordable as possible.
  3. We enjoy meeting our customers and hand delivering eggs to you.

What if you don’t want to sign up for an egg subscription? That’s no problem. You can contact us 3 days prior to our weekly delivery date to see if we have any extra eggs for a one-time purchase.
