Ryan

Hi I’m Ryan! I’m a software engineer, a homesteader, farmer, and rancher. In early 2019 if someone would have told me that our family would soon own a piece of property and be on our way to building a full-fledged homestead, farm, and ranch – I would have never believed them. Now that we are here, I can’t imagine us being anywhere else. Our kids are learning life skills that they will carry with them forever. That is the most rewarding part of this and we can see it happening right before our eyes. I’m so glad you are here to meet us and follow our story.

Amy

Hi I’m Amy! I manage the ranch during the day while Ryan works. I always have multiple projects underway. With 3 kids (and their own projects) there is always something around here that needs my attention. Whether its mowing the pastures, getting kids to and from school, or driving across Texas to pick up a new chicken for Kailey’s flock, I’m behind the wheel. 🙂

Wyatt

Hi I’m Wyatt! I love our ranch and all of our animals. I’m not exactly sure want I want to do yet, but I know I love being outside and helping mom and dad.

Caden

Hi I’m Caden! Right now, I raise meat chickens to sell to family and friends as well as to local buyers. I’m learning more and more about farming and ranching so I can do more than chicken in the future. I hope to raise money for my first car and for college. I love sports, but mainly basketball, football, and baseball. I like to run around and explore in the woods on our property with my brother and sister.

Kailey

Hi I’m Kailey! I currently raise two flocks of layer chickens, sell farm fresh eggs and I’m building flocks to produce and sell hatching eggs. I love art, photography, and building things. Ryan and I built our two chickshaws and our meatshaw together. Like Caden, I plan to sell our pasture raised poultry along with my eggs and other meats we raise. I am hoping to raise money for my first car and for college. I play volleyball and love horseback riding.
